François, chevalier de Créquy (born c. 1624—died Feb. 3, 1687, Paris) was a marshal of France and one of King Louis XIV’s most successful commanders during the War of Devolution (1667–68) and the Third Dutch War (1672–78). As a boy, Créquy took part in the Thirty Years’ War, distinguishing himself so greatly that at the age of 26 he was made a maréchal de camp, and a lieutenant general before he was 30.
