Nancy Grace (born October 23, 1959, Macon, Georgia, U.S.) is an American legal current-affairs commentator and outspoken champion of victims’ rights, perhaps best known as the anchor of the television program Nancy Grace (2005–16). Grace grew up in Georgia. She intended to pursue a career as an English professor until, when she was 19 years old, her fiancé was murdered. She then began the study of law, eventually receiving a J.D. degree from Mercer University, where she was a member of the university’s Law Review, as well as an M.A. in criminal and constitutional law from New York University.
