Cape San Antonio, cape, westernmost Cuba. Forming the western extremity of the island, its point juts out between the Gulf of Guanahacabibes on the north and Corrientes Bay on the south. Approximately 150 mi (240 km) to the west, across the Yucatán Channel, lies Cape Catoche, on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. A lighthouse is situated on Cape San Antonio.
