Chuna River, river, east-central Russia. It rises in the Eastern Sayan Mountains, in Irkutsk oblast (region), and flows about 746 miles (1,203 km) north and west through Krasnoyarsk kray (territory) into the Taseyeva River. Its upper course is called the Uda.
