Haslemere, town (parish), Waverley district, administrative and historic county of Surrey, southeastern England.

Located in the southwestern corner of Surrey, Haslemere is attractively situated between the sandy heights of Hindhead (895 feet [273 metres]) and Blackdown (918 feet [280 metres]), both of which belong to the National Trust. Arnold Dolmetsch and his family, internationally known performers of early music on authentic instruments, settled there in 1914 and founded an annual summer festival there in 1925. Pop. (2001) 15,612; (2011) 16,826.
