Notre Dame Bay, inlet (55 miles [90 km] wide) of the Atlantic Ocean, indenting the northern coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, for 50 miles. It has an irregular shoreline and contains many islands. Fishing villages are scattered along the coast of the inlet.
