Pai-yün kuan, major Taoist temple in Beijing, which was traditionally the center of the Lung-men subsect of the Ch’üan-chen, or Perfect Realization, school of Taoism. Today it is the center of the state-controlled Taoist Association and is both a religious and a tourist attraction in Beijing.
