Rochester Institute of Technology, private, coeducational institution of higher learning in Rochester, New York, U.S. It includes colleges of business, applied science and technology, liberal arts, science, and engineering. The institute also includes the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences and the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. In addition to undergraduate studies, Rochester Institute offers a range of master’s degree programs and a doctoral program in imaging science. Campus laboratory facilities include the Chester F.
