Special Boat Service (SBS), elite British special operations warfare unit. With the Special Air Service (SAS), the Special Reconnaissance Regiment, the Special Forces Support Group, an integral signals regiment, and an aviation wing, it is a core part of the United Kingdom Special Forces (UKSF) group. The SBS recruits principally from the Royal Marines, though also from the army and the Royal Air Force, and all its operators have to pass the grueling UKSF selection program.
